The Institute for Infrastructure, Environment and Innovation (IMI) is an independent non-profit organisation with locations in Brussels, Hamburg and Amsterdam, aiming to demonstrate that the development of infrastructure can be reconciled with nature protection and environmental goals. In this connection, European nature legislation constitutes the main focal point of IMI, which specialises in projects that combine economic development and the preservation of Natura 2000 sites in coastal areas and estuaries.

Our activities cover four sectors: Nature, Renewable Energy, Fisheries and Cross-border Cooperation. Within these sectors we: initiate and develop European co-operation projects; provide advice on nature protection regulation and integrated management plans; provide mediation on cross-border issues between the European Member States.

  3. Complete the form -
    1. You are adding a map location
    2. Enter a title (e.g. company or personal name)
    3. Enter a short description
    4. Use the map tool to place a marker; use a red marker
    5. In 'body text' add extra info, e.g. contact details or web links
  4. Click the 'Save' button at the end
  5. To submit the profile to the web manager, click the arrow next to 'Private' on the editing toolbar and choose 'Submit for publication'. Your profile will be reviewed and published.
