Angling sector Issue Exchange

The establishment of Natura 2000 protected areas across Europe to help protected vulnerable habitats and bird species should bring about many benefits for Europe's natural heritage and biodiversity. However, the sites could also impact on many stakeholders. These stakeholders need to accommodate Natura 2000 protected areas into their activities and operations. To do this presents challenges and issues. By sharing information and best practice, we stand a better chance of overcoming these issues.

To connect with other people interested in Natura 2000, we encourage you to visit the Natura 2000 (N2K) International group on LinkedIn. In the group you can:

  • Put Natura 2000-related questions to group members
  • Make new contacts
  • Find out about developments concerning Natura 2000.

You will need to a LinkedIn account. Registration is free. The group manager will also need to approve your request to join the group.

This connection to LinkedIn replaces the Issue Exchange section of our website, which was not well-used. In contrast, the Natura 2000 (N2K) International group on LinkedIn has many members, who could help address issues relating to Natura 2000.

Please note: the Natura 2000 (N2K) International LinkedIn group is managed independently from this website.
