Centre for Ecology and Hydrology
- The Centre for Ecology & Hydrology is the UK's Centre of Excellence for integrated research in terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems and their interaction with the atmosphere. As part of the Natural Environment Research Council, we provide National Capability based on innovative, independent and interdisciplinary science and long-term environmental monitoring, forming an integral part of NERC's vision and strategy. Working in partnership with the research community, policy-makers, industry and society, we deliver world-class solutions to the most complex environmental challenges facing humankind. Staff at CEH Lancaster have created this Natura 2000 Good Practice Exchange website and currently host it.

Eurosite
- Eurosite's mission is to exchange, enhance and promote expertise in the management of sites for nature, throughout Europe. Eurosite is unique – it is one of the largest pan-European networks bringing together governmental and non-governmental organisations, as well as private bodies, in active collaboration for the practical management of Europe’s nature. There are currently 96 members of the Eurosite network from 26 European countries engaged in the delivery of this mission.

ECONAT
- ECONAT promotes exchange of experience so as to connect economic activities with biodiversity. ECONAT's exchange include organisations for nature conservation, but it consists mainly of other ones like port authorities, highway agencies, water managers, developers of wind farms, developers of housing, etc. The aim of this exchange is to exchange good practice in and around Natura 2000-sites: combining economic activities with managing and conserving Natura 2000.

Berwickshire & North Northumberland Coast European Marine Site
- The Berwickshire & North Northumberland Coast EMS stretches along 115 km of coast from Alnmouth in Northumberland, up to Fast Castle Head in Berwickshire. The site encompasses 635 square kilometres of shore and sea and hosts some of the most stunning land and seascape in England. It is managed through a Management Group made up of all competent and relevant authorities. Management is supported by an implementation officer and steering group.

SOS Rio Paiva, Associação de Defesa do vale do Paiva (PT)
- Non-governmental organization of defense of the river Paiva (in the North of Portugal), a site of Community importance of Natura 2000. Bright Angel Coastal Consultants Ltd
- A small niche consultancy dealing with aspects of coastal management and Natura 2000. We provide advice on a range of issues including 'top down' or analogue-based conceptual models of impacts of coastal management schemes, port developments and dredging.
