Nature Conservation beyond 2010

The aim of the scientific conference, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of nature conservation in Estonia, is to address the development of nature conservation so far, its current situation and further development trends in the international and local context. The conference will focus on following themes:

• Ecosystem goods and services
• Ecosystem approach in management
• Success stories of nature conservation
• Nature conservation beyond 2010
• Conservation values and climate change
• Biodiversity, private sector and business

Conference is organised by Ministry of the Environment, Environmental Board, Estonian University of Life Sciences in co-operation with EUROPARC Nordic-Baltic Section, International Union for Conservation of Nature, Tallinn University of Technology, Tallinn Zoological Gardens and University of Tartu.
